Varaschin Link modern design extendable garden table, H 73.2 cm

Link is a modern design table with structure (bracket + legs) in painted stainless steel. The top is available in HPL (thickness 12 mm) or in teak wood (thickness 30 mm). Thanks to its versatile design, it can be used both as an extendable outdoor table and to furnish indoor environments. Different finishes are available with which to customize the structure, legs and table top.

Technical characteristics Teak : Tectona is a genus of hardwood tropical trees which includes three species commonly known as Teak. The most suitable areas for production are the rainy ones, where a decidedly dry season always alternates with a highly humid one, with altitudes that often reach 1500 metres. They are trees with a thick boot, which grows up to 30-40 metres in height and up to 1.5 cm in diameter. The lower section of the boot can even exceed 10 m. It tolerates temperature changes, humidity, the attack of salt and atmospheric agents very well. These characteristics make it one of the most durable woods in the world.
Precisely thanks to these characteristics of beauty, durability, resistance, ductility and imperishability, teak is an excellent wood for the most diverse applications. Carpentry, construction, furniture construction, interiors, the nautical industry are some of the major uses of this wood. The teak used by Varaschin for the production of outdoor furniture is Teak from plantation and denominated FSC . Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) means Council for Sustainable Forest Management and is an international organization founded by a group of environmental associations, forest producers, wood industries, forest scientists and technicians to create an alternative to forest destruction: certification . The FSC is a certification system that allows the final consumer to recognise products manufactured with raw materials that come from forests that are managed correctly, from an environmental and social point of view. This certification takes place according to well-defined, transparent and verifiable procedures and standards in the field. Already today around 35 million hectares of forests in 56 countries and over 2200 companies worldwide are FSC certified.

Characteristics HPL: high pressure laminates. They consist of numerous layers of paper (70%) impregnated with thermosetting resins (30%) and compacted through the combined action of heat (about 150 degrees) and high pressure (greater than 7Mpa) for about 45-50 minutes. The result is a stable, non-reactive, non-porous and high-density product, with physical and chemical characteristics of high mechanical resistance (controlled temperature range +80; -40 degrees, over a limited time of less than 30 seconds at extreme temperatures), exposure to light and exposure to temperature changes, even in marine environments.

N.B. The collection tolerates sunlight and rain. We recommend regular maintenance, and particular attention to the protection of the items in the event of adverse weather conditions (ice, hail, sudden changes in temperature, humidity, persistent, torrid heat or extreme cold). The duration and integrity of these items depend on the care with which they are maintained. For aluminium and steel products ( 43 , 304Ep, 316), even if protected by treatments and finishes suitable for outdoor use, it is essential to prevent water from stagnating inside the product itself. In fact, all the articles have technical holes necessary for the application of protective treatments and finishes. The introduction of water in those holes and its stagnation can cause rust to the internal parts of the pipes.

Indications for possible use in sea areas : for use of the product in sea areas, i.e. atmospheric situations with a concentration of salt spray, with a surcharge it is possible to use a suitable and guaranteed finish (C5m), for minimum quantities of agree.
